[A rhetorical question if there ever was one.] And in that situation, my form of self-defense was needed - at least the one I had to use. I'm sorry that you had to suffer for whatever was controlling you, but there's no way I will ever let that happen to myself. [And while she sounded very determined and set in that matter, at least she didn't sound angry at him? Maybe a small comfort to someone who'd only met her under really bad circumstances, but she clearly wasn't yelling at him anymore.
